No USB under Mandrake 10
I did a fresh install of Mandrake 10. During the install I had to choose 'F1' and then used 'vgalo noauto' in order to get a graphics display for the install. i also had to pick the generic usb 2 button mouse. all went great until reboot. all my usb ports have power but no data transfer (no mouse). Can some one help me with this small problem?

Well I have a USB ADSL modem and I had to apply a USB patch to the 2.6.7.* kernel, for the USB modem to work. I dunno if this patch is modem specific or USB specific but its worth checking out.

Thanks. Others have had the same problem, and they also applied a patch or recompiled with a generic kernel.doing this now.
