no root entry on login screen of kde-3.3.2
 

Hi, I recently install kde-3.3.2, and find no root entry on kde login screen even though I've unchecked the option to hide root in kcontrol. Is it a BUG in kde-3.3.2?

To fix this access the kdmrc file found either in /etc/kde3/kdm or /etc/kde/kdm

And look for this bit

[X-:*-Core]
AllowNullPasswd=false
AllowRootLogin=true
AllowShutdown=All

Its a seprate option I think, as its a X thing rather than simply hiding the root login.
