nforce network drivers for my sl-75frn2

I have downloaded the drivers for my nforce2 mobo for mandrake 9.1, I have mandrake 9.2. I installed them and everything went fine. But I either do not know how to configure them or they arn't working.
Im only worryed about getting the network to go as its not connected and very fustrating.
I configure the computer through the "confgure computer", there is no lan, click the wizard, auto detect (tried expert too) and for about a split second it shows something about the nforce network. Then says again what type of connection I want to confure. There is no option were to put the ip address in
I can not ping 10.0.0.3 says network unreachabke

you have two options

first, the "Booo!!!!" option. go to nvidia.com and downlaod the nforce2 drivers for the nvnet driver.

second the "Hurrah!!!" option. go to http://www.hailfinger.org/carldani/l...hes/forcedeth/ and get the new open source version. This is very likely going to part of the standard kernel in the next few months
