Newbiw: Apache graphical configuration interface?


Hi - Linux newbie here,

I am working with Mandrake 9.0 download version ( on Vmware ) and am looking to work/learn Apache. Is there a grahpical interface to manage/ configure Apache alla IIS in Windows? I have been searching the threads for tips on tutorials and other resources to no avail. any help is apprecitaed

You can do it using tools loke webmin:
http://www.webmin.com

I tend to find that they don't always work as you exepct and the config files aren't that daunting once you get used to them. If in doubt consult the docs and always backup config files before you change them:
