newbie in linux-mandrake; installing .rpm vmware for linux
 

hello guys,

i'm a newbie in linux... just to ask you how can i install a vmware .rpm file which i have recently downloaded. i have double-clicked the rpm icon and the machine have installed it. how will i know that is fully installed and where could i find the file or how to use it.

in my opinion, you just need to open terminal and tyle "vmware"; btw. may you please put the link to this .rpm here?

the .rpm just install the files.
you need to run /usr/bin/vmware-config.pl command to configure the server
