my system runs just as slow as it did when i had a 300 mhz celeron. I now have a p4 2.4 ghz 128 ddr ram 16 meg ati rage 128 and sc 97 onboard audio and my system is slow as hell, i have mandrake 9.2 download edition. I have win xp on another partion and it runs very very fast.... what am i doing wrong??

please help

Can you be a little more specific as to what is slow? Starting the system? Loading the Desktop? Is it KDE? or a certain App?

the sys them boots kinda slow, but the apps are slow as well... i think i might need to go back to 9.1, it was fast 4 me.

Yeah 9.2 is just coming out of beta, If 9.1 was working for you you should probably stick with that till 9.2 has been out for a couple months.
