Network Card troubles - 3com 3c905c-TX/TX-M [Tornado]
 

Hi,

I have a 3com 3c905c-TX/TX-M [Tornado] network card and I want to use it on my Mandriva 2006 machine (uname -r: 2.6.12-12mdk).

Could anyone help me how to make it work please? I searched online about this but it didn't really help. I found a 3c59x.c file but not 3c59x.o. I tried to compile .c file to have a .o but it didn't work either.

And a friend of mine is looking for how to make the card work on a RH machine, kernel 2.4.6. Do you have any idea for this distribution please?

It should work by default.
Take a look at "ifconfig -a".
Type this command as root.

yeahhh, it works ... :D I dont know why, after some times of rebooting, it works without any reason :D
