Need help with XP Pro and MDK 9.2 - Can't see XP Pro box and it's shared files in MDK
Hello folks I am having trouble with Mandrake 9.2 and Windows XP Pro. In Mandrake I can see all my Windows 2000 machines but I can't see a machine running XP which is sharing files. In XP I can see all my Windows 2000 machines as well. This XP Pro box is sharing files but I can't see it or gain access to those files via MDK's control panel. Any suggestions as to what might be happening ? I am pretty new to XP Pro but I have good experience with Windows 2000 and Linux. Did MS change something so it would be hard for Samba to pick up and show up on Linux machines ?

NTFS but I've used NTFS before on this machine when it use to have W2K. I can ping the box but I can't get it show up when I try to mount shares via MDK's control panel. My other boxes show up and they all have ntfs but are running W2K instead of XP Pro.
