Need boot diskette help

My computer doesn't support booting from the CD drive, so I made the boot diskette. I used rawwrite.exe and the cdrom.img file and wrote it to my diskette. When I boot from the disk, the menu comes up (with press F1 for more options, or enter to install) and I hit enter. The progress bar on the bottom starts going up, but at about halfway it stops, and BOOT FAILED: Please remove disk and press any key comes up. Can anyone help?

and I've reproted your other post, it keeps all the replies in the same place and reduces confusion to manageable levels.

however if you tell us a little bit more about your hardware we might be able to help, and I'm curious why your system wont boot from CD.
what make / model mobo are you using ?
have you been into the bios ?

also what brand and speed is your CD Rom, if you are burning to a 700 mb CD and older drive may not recognize it.
