ndiswrapper -L hardware not present

I just installed PCLinuxOS which seems to have alot of mandriva flare too it. I have used my wifi card (motorola notebook wn825G) before with other distros, kubuntu, mdk and suse, so i know it works and is possible.

I installed the drivers using ndiswrapper -i and it installed fine, but when i ndiswrapper -l it only tells me drivers are persent, but no hardware.

I suspect it is in the boot somewhere that is why the hardware is not being detected. Any ideas of why this may be?

This depends, are you using a intergrated wifi, mini-pci, pcmcia? I have a PCMCIA and I can load the card with "cardctl insert", which is automagicaly made at boot time if the card is inserted at the time.
