my new mandrake has no user

i installed mandrake 10.1
everything is ok .
but.....
it did not let me add any user
as a result i have no access

what shall i do to correct the installation

If everything went OK with the installation, there is -at least- a root account, so, you do have root access.

Just log as root and add another user.

i do not have a password since it did not ask me for it during the installation

Have you already tried to login as root? If
you didn't specify a root password when installing, My guess is: there is no password. So, try this: login as root, and when you are requested the password, just hit enter.

If that doesn't work, maybe you will have to reinstall.
