mount problem


hi
when i am using mount using superuser then its telling me that
permission denied
what is that ,,i m using root

command are
#mount /dev/hda5 /mnt/cdrom
permission denied

what is that ,,,error..

create a new folder in /mnt like /mnt/hda5, try mounting to there. i believe you already have a cdrom device tied to the /mnt/cdrom folder.

post your fstab and the output of: fdisk -l (that is an L)

You might find it easier to use the GUI in the Mandrake Control Centre->Mount Points
