Modem problems
Any help...
I run dual boot with Win XP SP2...I've installed my favorite linux Mandrake 10.1 Official...I have constant problem with configuring my network. My hardware is Sagem F@st 800 E2 WA FR modem. I'm using ADSL INTERNET connection of French provider Wanadoo. No problems with pasting configuration details...but with bringing up the device...in booting operation and configuring after. System is refusing to recognize device and to connect to the net.... Please any suggestions....This happened to me also with Mandrake 10.1 Community download... Thx for any help.... :( :Pengy: |
You probably don't have the right driver for the modem.
At the Sagem website they have drivers for linux http://www.sagem.com/en/produits-en/...fast800-en.htm Quote:
