You need to be more specific. What exactly is the problem you are having?

If you run RPMDrake, you can search for files. Try searching for mod.so there.

trying to get frontpage installed but it exits with the error that Apache does not have mod_so installed

I didn't install a gui (desktop) just webmin so like a dummy i've been dealing with dependecy issues. real pain in the butt

When I search (through URPMI - File Name option) for mod_so I get the following packages:

apache2-source-2.0.53-9mdk
apache-manual-1.3.33-2mdk
apache-source-1.3.33-6mdk
apache-ssl-1.3.33_1.55-1mdk

I hope this somewhat helps out.
