Menu Editor-- Icon requirements
 
What are the Icon requirements?

I got a program that didn't come with an Icon and I wanted to add one that I made, But I can't get the menue editor to detect the image I want it to use.

I've got Gimp 2.0

Usually no icon larger than 64 x 64. It is best to stay in the 32 x 32 size.

Not sure which gui you are using. Look in say /usr/share/icons/ any directory and look over the icons. compare the size and info. Maybe you have to many colors. Are you saving as ico or png?

Thats about all I know from looking over my system.
