MDK10 and HP ScanJet 3200c issues
 

Hi all,

I've having some trouble gettin my HP ScanJet 3200c scanner to work on Mandrake 10 Community. Now, I must say that although the Scanners option in Drakconf does include this scanner, the function to automatically set it up has never worked as long as I've known it to exist (9.0, 9.1, 9.2, etc). It's still "broken" in Mandrake 10, so I thought I'd bring it up.

Now, I know that it is a rebranded Umax scanners that there are a few explanations about downloading the SANE backend and so forth, but what I would really like is a little tutorial about how to set it up - especially from anyone who has managed to do so in MDK10.

This scanner is one of the few remaining Windows-Linux compatibility problems I have. I could replace it if need be, but if there's hope that it could work, then why not try? :p
