Hello U all

I need some help. I've just installed fluxbox, and works fine. But i've had to create a .xinitrc file on my home to enter directly to the fluxbox X window manager. So, i boot my computer, do the user login in text mode, execute startx and it enters right away to fluxbox.

But mandrake had a graphical login, pretty nice and useful, and that x login window had a dropdown menu with the X window managers available for use. I want to know how to add FLUXBOX window manager to that dropdown menu, to do the login graphical again and being able to enter other x window system if a need so.

Just, which is the file that contains that dropdown menu??

I installed fluxbox recently and I never had this problem. I went across the regular procedure from the MDK control center, sofware manager, install packages etc. Let's try something. Go to MDK CC, hardware, select display manager, and then check MdkKDM is selected as you default display manager if not, make sure you do. What desktop manager did you use before fluxbox?

I installed fluxbox from source and i don't know how to add it to the KDM x session menu option thing at the login screen.

I'm sorry, I installed the rpm package from my ftp source and all went automatically. Why don't you try to uninstall and reinstall from a rpm package? I have installed the fluxbox0.1.14-6mdk package.
