Angry mdk 9.2 won't enable a dialer

Although I'm a newbie I have been dual boot w/windoz98 and mdk 9.0. Since I "upgraded" there is no dialer to be found. The wizard will make a solid connection to my ISP but there is no way to link it on the desk top. Anybody got any bandaids?

try
going to konsole and log on as root then enter" urpmi kppp " and it should install it for you

Thanks. Although I will probably revert to 9.0+ I'm going to give your suggestion a shot. Getting the dialer to work is a matter of pride but I have many other issues with this new release
