mdk 9.2 won't enable a dialer

Although I'm a newbie I have been dual boot w/windoz98 and mdk 9.0. Since I "upgraded" there is no dialer to be found. The wizard will make a solid connection to my ISP but there is no way to link it on the desk top. Anybody got any bandaids? :newbie:

try
going to konsole and log on as root then enter" urpmi kppp " and it should install it for you

Thanks. Although I will probably revert to 9.0+ I'm going to give your suggestion a shot. Getting the dialer to work is a matter of pride but I have many other issues with this new release
