Mdk 9.2 with ATI Mobility Radeon on Vayo laptop?
 

Hello all,

I want to install the new Mdk 9.2 when it is released, on my laptop. My laptop is a Sony Vayo pcg-grx416g, 256 Mo RAM, 30 Go HD, 16,1 inches screen.

The video card is a ATI Radeon Mobility 7500 with 32 Mo.
Under WinXP, I get a wide 1600x1200 desktop with 32millions colors.

I tested the Mdk 9.1 few months ago, on this computer, and I was quite impressed by the general look & feel of Linux + Mandrake tools.

But I had troubles too, sadly. The main trouble was with my videocard. I had no 3D functions under Linux, i.d., no games (for example, Tux Racer was freezing) and no beautifull screensavers.

Do you know if the future 9.2 release will include a better management of my videocard? Or what kind of tricks should I use to enhance it?
