master volume control for both front and rear?
 

Hey people, I just got a set of speakers for rear sound and although they work. I noticed that xmms only adjusts for the front(pcm). After opening Kmix, I noticed that the master volume only works the front speakers as well, so if Im really jamming, and I need to adjusts the volume for a phone call or something, I have to open kmix(or similar), and adjust two volume controls.. Is there a way around this. Ive noticed the same thing in both mdk 9.1 and 9.2.

I have somewhat the same prob with my system. I manually adjust the front speakers and let xmms (or other app) adjust the rear speakers. It would be nice to adjust the whole system at the same time...
