Mandrive 2005 LE Kopete bugs

The version of Kopete that comes with Madriva 2005 LE is 0.9.2 and has a bug where certain ICQ users sending you a message crashes Kopete.

The guys at Kopete are aware of it, and told me to upgrade........
There are 2 newer verions 0.9.2 and 0.10.1

I`m subscribed to mandrivaonline auto updates, what is the chance that an upgrade will be made available by mandrakeonline?

Certain ICQ users? Granted most of my kontacts are msn and yahoo, but I have a few still on icq and haven't had any crashes. I have the updated kopete package http://www.mandriva.com/security/adv...DKA-2005:028-1 that fixed the msn issue. Don't mean to be a "it works for me post", but I haven't experience crashes.

One of the guys at Kopete said it`s when an ICQ user uses a particular version of ICQ (ICQ5) I think it was.

The main reason for the post is because Kopete is now 2 versions ahead of what you get with Mandriva, its got this bug, so wondered if it would be auto updated. Yep we got a patch for 0.9.2 to fix msn.

It only affects one of the icq contacts I have, so rather than bug everyone on here, I`ll just ask him to upgrade!
