I have MDK.10.1 Power pack,is there a difference between that and Mandriva? I just got a knew computer,AMD64 3200+,The version of MDK I have is for i586 I think. Will this work on my computer?
So there is a difference between the mandrake 10.1 and 2005LE 10.1.? What if I was using 10.2 RC2 ,would the current 10.1 be an upgrade? I hope that makes sense!
I have MDK 10.1 Power pack which I haven't installed. If I do install it can I upgrade it to Mandriva or do I have to buy the Mandriva distro and use it?
There's always an option to upgrade when installing a new version, but if past experience is any indication it may or may not work. Just remember to backup /home and /etc first, then even if you have to reinstall from scratch you won't lose anything.
