Mandriva One 2009 (live cd) wont boot to gui on my aspire 5024 laptop
My Mandriva cd works in my two other PC so i think the problem is in laptop. (which works with ubuntu 804 and xp just fine)
I am pretty new linux user and i havent faced problems with ubuntu so i dont really know what to do. Should i change boot options somehow? Computer boot to state where there is two lines shown on screen: audit(1233685112.894:702723): auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 op=remove rule key=(null) list=2 res=1 audit(1233685112.894:702723): audit_enabled=0 old=1 auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 res=1 I can write on the screen anything but only response i get with Ctrl+Alt+Del or Winkey but those shuts down computer (improperly) Sorry about bad english. |
are you having a display problem with mandriva?
In that case, change the graphics mode in the boot screen or type vesa as the boot option |
I gave up already with the live cd and now installed the Free edition. Seems to work fine.
Trying to find solution for the wlan problem. |
Please post a new thread to get the proper exposure for the new trouble :).
