Hi all, new to linux, new to mandriva
Installation was perfect, everything run nice..
But when all was done i cant update, in mandrake linux control center, and mozilla goes slow and often lost connection.
Konqueror runs fast and nice, but want to use mozilla, and i wont to update in control center...
I have adsl connection (bredbandsbolaget 0,5mbit).
D-link adsl router DSL-G604T.

I have been searching for this question four hours now so this is my last chance, plz help me..

Yes, Konqueror is quit fast if not bogged down with plug-ins and junk. I use Mozilla 1.7.2 with my 10.1 install and have a similar connection speed as yours. Setting up Pipelining in Mozilla was kindof a myth for increased speed and a lot of people don't think it works, however, I did play with piplining (maxrequests), and cache settings and and found that there was a significant increase in page display. It's worth a shot anyway. Here's the link for the basic configuration. You can tailor it to whatever works best for your setup:

Sorry for this guys, i tryied to post 2 times with Konqueror but it didnt work, so i logged in with windows and posted one and it came up at once..
