Mandriva and usb IRDA

I have a Bafo BF-120 infrared IRDA...
I am trying to use it with my SonyEricsson T-610 that doesnt need any special software like nokias or i don;t know what else...
So its pretty straightforward that I have to configure my IRDA dongle.

I am running Mandriva LE2005 and Harddrake can find my BF120 under uknown /other

When I plugin the IRDA in the USB, dmesg command gives me this (dont know if this is any help)

Now when I try to send something from my mobile phone, my mobile says No device Found

What should I configure on my System so that I can get the infrared to work?

Thanks
