Mandriva and speed touch

I really regeret that nobody knows how to resolve speed touch in all cases. I don't know how can we use linux os if there are problems and there is nonbody to help.

Hi friend,
I installed mandriva but I did'nt connect to internet. I have silver speed touch modem (revision 4). Itried a lot of advices on internt to config the modem but without result. I still unconnected.
So please help me to resolve this problem else I should uninstall mandriva.
