Mandriva 2008 in a Sony FZ180

I just download and istalled Mandriva 2008 in my Sony FZ180B/E, and it is working great. I had to disable acpi during the installation by suing acpi=off , other than that, no problem. Mandriva found my WiFi Intel/Pro Wireless 4965 and isntall the driver on the fly. The WiFi driver seems to be very solid!

It found my Nvidia 8400M GT, and installed the driver for it. I love the 3D features! Honestly, Vista don't have anything close to it. The 3D really works! I have always liked Mandriva, in my opinion is much easier to update.
Keep up the good work! Congratulations to all the developers around the globe. Of course, my next step will be buying the full version, and I will be a happy camper.

UPDATE:

Well, I just bought the downloadable full version. The installation went smooth like Jazz! No fuzz no mess. Firefox has basically most or all the plunging installed by default. Like I said before, the 3D is just awesome dudes! The Aero thing in Vista is far far behind! You need to see it to believe it. Try, for example, the Shift-shifter or the wobbly windows, etc. Of course, it installed the Nvidia driver on the fly, the same with my WiFi card.

The easyUrpmi updater is just fantastic!
