Mandriva 2007 users ? I need a gimp file from your distro please ?

Hello :)

Please, can I ask your help ? I need a file from the gimp's folder, that seems to be present ONLY in the Mandriva 2007 version. I'd love to avoid having to reinstall it (and find an available hard disk to reinstall it !) just for that file ;)

I appreciated a lot the Selection > Round function.

Most unfortunately, when upgrading to Mandriva2008, the function was gone. And adding it from the gimp's repositories of plugins wasn't successful, the only Round plugin available for download is no better than a nonworking alpha version.
Edit, update : My Gimp came installed with the rest of the programs, from the RPMs present on Mandriva's Powerpack 2007 DVD.

I'd be very grateful if a Mandriva 2007 user could locate the file responsible for that function and share the file for download, really !
I think the file must be an .scm file (for instance, round.scm ?)

Thank you very much if you can help me with this :)

Haven't you tried installing an older version of the GIMP?

Hmmm, I must precise my gimp came installed with Mandriva Powerpack 2007, hence from the original RPMs included in the DVD.

I don't have the level to install from source such a program, and there's no guarantee it will contain that precise function (I tested, the 2008 and windows versions don't have Selection > Round).

And when you rely on mandriva's RPMs there's no installing a 2007 RPM over a 2008 system :/

I found this in my Mandriva 2008.0 install

/usr/share/gimp/2.0/scripts/selection-round.scm

Is this the file you want?

5.9 kb

ver. GIMP 2.4.0-rc2

If this is it, I can email it to you, compressed if you like.

Cheers, Glenn
