Mandriva 2007 kernel source files

I'm installing Mandriva 2007 on a Compaq Evo N610C laptop. Everything works fine apart from the wireless. Various forums all point to reconfiguring the kernel with the orinoco-usb driver (see so I thought I'd give that a try. Downloaded the tar file, unpacked it OK, but when I run '# make KERNEL_SRC=/usr/src/linux', it returns '/usr/src/linux: No such file or directory' and sure enough, it ain't there.

OK - so I've no kernel source files, where are they?

'# urpmi -y kernel' returns 'kernel-' amongst the kernel package list

'# urpmi kernel-' returns 'The packages(s) are already installed', but still I have no /usr/src/linux Hmmmm!!

'# urpmi kernel- --install-src' returns 'no package named kernel-'

Can anyone tell me either where my kernel source files have gone to or how to get them into /usr/src/linux ??

Many thanks in advance

Just open up MCC Software manager, and select "Look at installable software and install software packages" then type kernel in the search box, and install the full kernel source matching your kernel. It will be installed into /usr/src/linux-your-kernel-version

Use uname -r in a konsole to find your kernel version so you can get the correct kernel-source

eg - if uname -r returns for instance 2.6.17-13mdv
then you would select kernel-source- from MCC to install the full kernel source
