Mandriva 2007.0/WindowMaker problem

I recently upgraded my laptop from Mandrake 10.2 to 2007.0.

I now can't bring up X using WindowMaker (KDE comes up, so it's not an X server issue).

When I try with WindowMaker, it tries to come up, then drops back to the CLI; I get the following error:

wmaker: symbol lookup error: wmaker: undefined symbol: RCopyArea

Googling this returns **one** old (2005) short thread from the old Mandrake Cooker dev list, which wasn't very helpful.

I tried downgrading to the rpm from 2006.0 - no difference.

Anyone have a fix for this?
