im trying to install kdevelop but was told i need cooker sources. im assuming its like the ubuntu repo sources? but either way how do i get them and from where? ive had mandriva since the beta was out and in last 2 weeks or so not a damn update either whats with that? but right now bigger issue is the cooker sources. plz help

if it won't let you do it, go to the urpmi directory (not sure what that is, but there is one) and do ls -a and look for 2 hidden files that are named something like "LOCK" and delete them. then do the above command and it will let you remove the cd's as sources. then, go ahead and post the commands from urpmi. should work

Because its a beta. If you want something that's supported with security updates use a release version - either 2005LE or wait for 2006 to be released.
