Mandriva 2006 and DVI display
 

Hi there ,
I just installed Mandriva 2006 , everything works perfectly except for the fact that whenever I have a DVI connector attached to my graphic board the display goes there for default .

What I did to try and solve the problem was to disconnect the DVI cable (attached to my plasma tv) when installing the operating system .
By the way whenever I reconnect the DVI and reboot the system the display goes on the DVI output (and not on the VGA attached to the PC LCD) .
This even if the plasma is turned off , doesn't make a change .

I tried to see if I could spot anything in the xorg.conf but didn't find anything obvious .

Also in the system display configuration I didn't find anything to tune .

Please tell me someone out there has an answer ;)

I noticed this to, luckly I have an analog to dvi adapter.
