I am trying to install "Oscommerce" a web store that uses SSL for transactions and administrator acccess. I have installed all of the needed packages mod_ssl, openssl, etc... I have also generated the needed certificates and access files but the SSL does not function. Will the SSL function with only locally generated certificates for testing purposes prior to migrating to a hosted server?
