Mandrakeonline

Is it possible to update Mandrake without buying Mandrakeonline? I know you can update in the installation, but I don't want to reinstall just to get updates.

But upgrading to a new version of Mandrake would be reinstalling. Do you understand?

It's still possible to update Mandrake without purchasing the Mandrake Online benefit. Think of it as the "Windows Automatic Update" feature. It's just a helpful reminder and notification, that's all. You can still upgrade manually by going to the Mandrake Control Center and by checking the www.mandrakeclub.com website for update announcements.
