MandrakeMove & Hardware detection
 

I'll be buying a laptop in the near future & was going to adopt the recommended route of "Take a Knoppix CD along, if the Hardware is all detected fine, then that will be a good laptop to install linux on".

With the fact that my usual distro is Mandrake, Has anyone had experience of the new MandrakeMove in terms of it's hardware detection? Does it have the same level of hardware detection as a regular Mandrake distro?

I just thought that to take a LiveCD version of the system I actually use the most would make more sense that using a different distro.

In my case, MandrakeMove detected pretty much everything I have on my comp the same way as Mandrake 9.2. Just try and see if everything you use gets detected :)
