Mandrake menu vs. KDE menu
 

I am using Mandrake 9.1 and running KDE 3.1. The KDE Menu manager has taken over my start menu. I would like to know how I can switch back to the Menudrake start menu. It is not a big problem, I can still get to all of my programs, but I prefer the look and feel of the Mandrake menu. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I decide to just forget about trying to fix it. I just went the reinstall route. I have only had my linux machine up and running for a couple of weeks, and I am only using it for the time being to learn the ropes of linux. I still want to know what exactly I should have done to repair my silly newbie mistakes, so any advice or recommendations would still be appreciated.

Sorry if this off the mark, but when you open menudrake, go to Action ->Modify Menustyle. You should be given the option to revert to the original style.
