Mandrake Media Manager!!!!

Hi,

I came across a ftp that had a load of RPM's that updated certain parts of mandrake (kde in particular) now i gather that i add it into the media manager pointing to the site and to the synthesis.hdlist.cz on there. which works ok, mandrake trys to connect to it and adds it to my list. my question is, how do i now get mandrake to update to the files on this site? if i run the Mandrake update tool all that does is search its own mirrors,

Kind regards
Gav

Open the Mandrake Control Center (mcc) and go to the rpm media manager and un-check all the sources except the one you want to use to upgrade KDE.

An alternative is to download the KDE rpms into one directory and do this:
rpm -Uvh Big long list of kde rpm's goes here

Try:
urpmi kdebase-x.y.z
Where x.y.z is the release you are trying to upgrade to.

I am not 100% sure what you're asking but I think you go to the software sources manager
and you should be able to update it from there.
Hope that helps.
