i have just fot the Mandrake linux 10 installation disk...
i plan to install on a old pc, pentium II 350, 128mb ram, 5gb harddisk, i think just able to meet to installation requirement.
so i start my installation from booting using the 1cd, unfortunately, when it start
mounting /dev/hdc on /tmp/image as type iso9660
then it complain "that cdrom disc does not seem to be mandrake linux installation cdrom"
so i tot is the installation cd gpt problem, so i change a new copy but is still the same, i try some others way like copy the 3 cd data to a usb harddisk then use the hdcdrom_usb.img from the version 9.2 to install, but unfortunately the image is looking for the older kernel to install and i not able to get the hdcdrom_usb.img for version 10.
i also try searching the web for some solution, but not one have the problem i got, i maybe because i too newb n miss some pre-installation steps..
someone pls help me..
thx...
