Mandrake installation problems with 2nd and 3rd CD

Hi,
I downloaded the 3 mandrake Linux ISO 586 cores and installed it. During the installation when it prompted me for the 2nd CD, and I put it, after a few secs, the CD ROM Drive opened and it prompted me for the 2nd CD again. Basically it takes the CD and doesn't do anything with it.
Could it be because my core is corrupted. I did download the cores from different mirrors as in the first frm Norway, 2nd from France and so on.
Don't thk tht shud matter though.
Did anyone face a similar problem?
Tx, Sid.

You will also want to download the *.iso.md5sums.asc file from one of these sites.
Use the md5sum program to check the *.iso files:
For example, if you were installing Mandrake 10.0-rc1 the file-name, and command to enter are below.
md5sums -c MandrakeLinux-10.0-rc1.i586.iso.md5sums.asc

I'm not sure about this, since I haven't tried it out, but under expert mode install you can state which cd:s (except the first one) you have. Click none and the install should be fine. If you only get the basics (kernel, gcc, glibc, bash, etc) with network up you could download the rpms from an update mirror or just urpmi.
