Just do
Code:
urpmi XFree86-xfs-4.3-30mdk.i586.rpm
Better yet setup your sources at http://easyurpmi.zarb.org and do it using urpmi or the Mandrake Control Centre->Software. What Mandrake version are you using? Are these packages for another version of the distro? Why are you downloading something as big as Xfree86 as seperate packages?

Yeah this makes sense - X windows needs chkfontpath to work and chkfontpath can only be installed on a system with X.

Go into the directory where you've downloaded those 2 RPMs and do the command that Mrcheeks suggested. Alternatively specify each RPM file directly like this
Code:
rpm -ivh XFree86-xfs-4.3-30mdk.i586.rpm chkfontpath-1.9.10-1mdk.i586.rpm
Since RPM can't resolve dependencies (that's what urpmi is for) you have to specify all the dependent files on the same command line if you use rpm.
