Mandrake Control Panel Locks up Version 10?

I deep sixed that lousy NEC CRT from 1997 and am using a Hitachi LCD now.
I switched resolutions without a problem. Now when I go into MCP
everything just stops. The moust cursor, the num lock key LED doesn't
function. I have to hit the reset button to do anything else. What the
heck do I do now?

Its been a while since I messed somethig up. I actually used this system quite a bit, for uploading HUGE files, and a few papers for my MBA classes.

I seem to remember there being a bug with MDK 10.1 Mandrake Control Center (?). See if you can run it from the command line as root.

I think I figured itout. When I moved the PC, I kept the prinal moust there. It was a Windows maxhine. I had a MS Mouse on there, when i switched it with a Logitec it works fine.
I don't understand...
