Mandrake control center trying to update off non existent cdrom

Hi all.

I have a problem updating my packages. I'm trying to install Xawtv. Once I've selected it from rpmdrake and clicked install, Mandrake then asks me to insert Installation Disk 2 into hdd.
Problem is that my cdrom is on /dev/hdc not hdd!

I think the problem started when I temporarily replaced the cdrom in my computer with another one. I've looked under harddrake and it only lists the one cdrom and the device is hdc.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve the problem with rpmdrake?

Apart from this problem the cdrom mounts correctly from hdc.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if you have already tried this but have you tried going into Control Centre,
Click on Hardware and see what you have listed under CD/DVD?
you should be able to click on "run config tool" and have a play around with the mount points etc to put it back to how it was.
hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply.

Seem you were right, after running the config tool I noticed that the cdrom was mounting to /mnt/cdrom2 and not /mnt/cdrom. After changing this back to /mnt/cdrom everything worked perfectly.

Thanks again.
Cheers
