Mandrake Club Info needed

I was thinking of joining mandrake users club so I can get 9.2 and I saw that they have different memberships. Is there any benefits to joining a higher membership other than contributing more money to a worthy cause? Also, what does membership include? Thanks in advance.

as a member you basically get to download the powerpack editiion instead of the standard three cd edition. Apart from that, you get ot download a few club rpms for testing but that does not amount to much, I think (I am a member). I don't think there is much of a difference between membership lelvels at the moment (there is some but so insignificant I forget what they were). It's more about contributing to mandrake than what you get out of it. If you like mandrake and intend to use it, join by all means, and if you can afford to pay more than the minimum do so. Just think about what you'd have to pay to get a windows equivalent - not just the os but all the software preconfigured for you - and it's not that much to pay 60 bucks a year for a membership which you don't even have to renew.

I think silver and above get Staroffice for free, but that may have been last year I'm not sure. I joined at the basic level to contribute and use the message boards.
