Mandrake and modems

Well thi thing is quite simple ,
I use Suse9.1Pro and got Knoppix, just now I am downloading the ASP Linux and I just can´t make my micromodem hsf work even when the supposed driver is installed as you can see here ]

,So PLEASE, if Mandrake works good with this TELL ME !!! I´m desperate
I would be verrrrrry grateful with ANY answer

well, i hope you have heard of winmodems....try searching for it. there are many drivers for different linux distros for your modem to work. try checking it out.

you'll get the hang of searching in the internet and learning about stuff. have fun with your box

well thanks for that but as you can see in the link --here-- I did it, I just downloaded about 15 drivers and I know it works becouse I am using it now with windows, and the drivers were succesfully installed, jesus I even installed 4 Kernels!
AND NOW I`LL TRY ANOTHER DISTRO AND I AM GUESSING IF THE DRIVERS WILL WORK THE RIGHT WAY IN MANDRAKE

You need to go here:

http://www.linuxant.com/drivers/

And follow the directions for installing the driver.

If you want higher speeds/fax you'll need to pay and register for a driver, fortunately the fee is rather reasonable.

And yes this works.
