Mandrake 9.2 ISOs Download Edition

Hi,

It appears that the MandrakeSoft team has begun the process of mirroring de 9.2 ISOs Download Edition to the various mirror links found on their web site. They will probably update their main web page (http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/) with this news as soon as the mirroring is completed or about to be completed. But that is just a guess...

Thanks to LinuxQuestions' user "/bin/bash" that have found the following link with the ISOs:

ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/...-inst.i586.iso

ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/...2-ext.i586.iso

ftp://carroll.cac.psu.edu/pub/linux/...-i18n.i586.iso

Now, you can get them there, but you can also search on the net for the various mirrors been populated. If you use a download manager like GetRight (under Windows...), you can set it up so that you can use the resume function and also the automatic mirror search function. You can also use BitTorrent if you prefer.

Also, go to the download area of their site and pick the mirror closest to you, then if it pulls up the raw tree, go up one or two directories and pick the folder labeled iso. Make sure the iso2 and iso3 are over 700mb. Definitely download the md5sums to check your files by.

Don't know. Play it safe anyway and go to the LG website
websiteLG
Then go to Device Driver and pick your pleasure to update the firmware.
