Mandrake 9.1 installation help

I just installed Mandrake 9.1 and am having some trouble. I intended to set up mandrake to boot into KDE. The problem is though that I am not good with the command line yet and every time I boot, for some reason I go straight to the command line. Can someone help me with what I need to type in order to get it to load my KDE desktop everytime i boot by default, or at least how to do it manually?

I'm a newbie so I'll try.

you can type:

startx

and it'll boot into the GUI.
Go to your Mandrake Control Center and go to the boot option. There's an option to boot the GUI by default. If that isn't checked, it'll just keep booting to the DOS prompt.

But.. I think I used KDE or startup to get the GUI.
