as you look like someone that is trying linux for the first time. If it is so, You have wisely chosen mandrake.
Well as for your problem,I think I can help you. try running again the drack connect wisard, and restore the values you had before.
It is sometime i have switced from mandrake to slackware, ad the one i last saw was the 9.2. Still i think it should work. If it doesn't work, let me know, it is a terible situation not to have internet. If not, try do do what i always did when i didn't know what to do and needed help, unplug the usb card, and restore your mandrake by inserting your cd and choosing to upgrade your system. After that, run your connection browser, if it connects to internet, plug the card reader without reboting, it it doesn't work,let me know
