Mandrake store conf files just like most Linux distros. In the etc directory. They are in /etc/httpd/conf .
You might want to check out the how to on www.linuxloader.com

ok well i did find the config (it was named httpd2.conf) but in it i didn't find any option to allow users to browse files, also too i can't find the create data base command and almost all these php sites i'm trying out require that i make one. (why can't they make it themselfs the gallery php did it).

is there any tutoral for making database/useing for advx?

thanks agian

If you follow the Webserver how to on that site it will show you how to create the database you are trying to.

I hate to say this but you are going to have to do some reading because running sql driven php site can get kind of involved in the set up. The apache documentationis on the machine. There is a section on configuring just what you want to do. I can't remember the exact pages but I've seen it before. I would install Webmin and go from there.

the how to on wat website and wheres the reading on apache? would any of this work on my system cuzz afterall httpd.conf was httpd2.conf so even if it told me the normal direcotry to find the command to creat a database i don't think it would match with my system.

There is an RPM on one of the 3 disc for webmin. I think its disc 2 or 3. The wizards are VERY limited in their ability to help you. I can create a data base with webmin in a couple of minutes. Its a very good admin tool. I would dump the wizards and use webmin. if you follow the how to on my site you should not have any problem installing webmin or using it for Mysql or Apache.
