Mandrake 10 on dell 600m
 

When i installed linux on my machine it is not getting into GUI

I cannot configure ATI Mobility Redon card on my machine.
It is not getting configured.

Plz help me with this problem

Try:
xfree86setup
xf86cfg
xf86config
Retrying startx after each of 'em.

got a 600m myself and i had to make sure to set the install the the 1400x1050 resolution of the screen.

i forget the kernel param to pass, but its pretty simple. I never tried MDK on it, i have fedora installed atm.

I had to set card to ATI Radeon (fglrx)
and set monitor ot Dell Laptop 1400x1050
this worked for me

yes i remember the paramater now it is something like this

linux screen="1400x1050"
